Volunteer areas can include welcoming visitors and helping with interpretation on the floor, tourist-season greeting, event support (greeting, way-finding, registration), gift shop support, collections and oral history team support (including computer tasks and document translation), and general administrative help. Volunteers are typically scheduled for shifts up to 3 hours, and the application process includes an interview, references, and a criminal background and child abuse registry check at no cost.
